1. Who we are

LunaHost is run by Ezekiel Kotevski (PF_Zeke), a sole trader based in Victoria, Australia, ABN 28 734 236 919. LunaHost is part of LunaLink. In these terms, “we” and “us” means Ezekiel Kotevski, and “you” means the person who bought the server or is using the panel.

2. Your account

You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for what happens on your LunaHost account and on servers you own, including anything done by people you give access to. Keep your Google account secure.

If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission before you buy a server.

If you make a profile, do not pick a username or picture, or write anything on it that pretends to be someone else (including LunaHost or its staff), or that is abusive. We may change or remove a profile that breaks this.

3. What you are buying

Each plan is a monthly subscription for one Minecraft Java Edition server with the memory, CPU share, player limit and other limits shown for that plan when you bought it. The plan’s limits are copied onto your server when it is built, so a later change to a plan does not reduce what you already pay for.

We may move your server between our machines, for example to balance load or during maintenance. Your server’s address will keep working.

4. Payment, renewal and cancelling

Prices are in Australian dollars and are charged monthly in advance. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Your subscription renews each month until you cancel.

To cancel, press Cancel subscription on the My servers page. Your server keeps running until the end of the month you have already paid for, then it stops, and you are not charged again. You can change your mind any time before then. If anything goes wrong, message us on our Discord server.

If a payment fails, Stripe tries again over the next few days. While the payment is failing your server is stopped, and it starts again once the payment goes through. If the payment still fails, the subscription ends.

If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you, so you have time to cancel if you do not want to keep it at that price.

5. Refunds

You can cancel at any time, but we do not refund part of a month you have already paid for just because you stopped using the server early.

This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (see section 9). If the service has a major failure, or we cannot fix a problem within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a refund. If we end the service ourselves for any reason other than you breaking these terms, we will refund any part of the month you paid for and did not get.

6. Uptime and where your server runs

Your server runs on machines we own and look after in Victoria, on a home internet connection, and is reached through a server in Sydney. We work hard to keep it online, but we do not promise any particular uptime. Power cuts, internet outages, hardware faults and maintenance can take it offline for a while. We will try to give notice of planned maintenance on our Discord server.

7. Backups and your files

Your server’s world, mods, plugins and settings belong to you. You give us permission to store, copy and back them up only so we can run your server.

Luna Panel takes backups when you ask it to or on the schedule you set, and stores them off the machine your server runs on. We take care of them, but no backup system is perfect. For anything you cannot afford to lose, download a copy and keep it yourself.

When your subscription ends, we keep your server’s files for at least 14 days, so you can ask us for a copy or come back. After that we may delete them for good.

8. What you can and cannot run

You must follow the Minecraft EULA and usage guidelines, which include rules about what you can sell to your players. You also agree not to:

• use your server for anything illegal;
• upload mods, plugins, worlds or other files you do not have the right to use, such as leaked copies of paid plugins;
• use the server for anything other than running Minecraft, such as crypto mining, proxies, or hosting unrelated websites or files;
• attack, scan or try to break into other servers, other customers, or our machines and network;
• try to get around your plan’s limits, or deliberately overload the machine your server shares with others.

You are responsible for your server’s players and for the mods and plugins you install. If you break these rules, we may stop your server while we look into it. For a serious or repeated breach we may end your subscription. We will tell you why, unless the law stops us.

9. Your consumer rights, and our liability

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms takes away those rights.

Apart from those rights, and to the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect loss, such as lost income, lost players or lost opportunities, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

10. If we stop offering LunaHost

If we ever decide to stop offering LunaHost, or a plan you are on, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice so you can download your files, and we will refund any time you paid for and will not get.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If a change is important and affects a subscription you already have, we will tell you before it applies, and you can cancel if you do not agree.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
